American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry has its conference once a year and its emphasis is on advanced continuing education in the cosmetic dentistry field. Participants in the AACD conventions learn about improved techniques in cosmetic dentistry and participate in workshops and gain continuing education hours.
The previous year's research and advanced findings are discussed during The Cosmetic Dentistry Academy's dental meeting. Distinguished leaders in the field of cosmetic dentistry discuss, lecture and coordinate workshops for the full benefit of dentists and potential dentists as well as their staff. Also, cosmetic dentistry's conference presents panel discussion/debates on points of great interest to cosmetic dentists.
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's annual conference offers education credit for continuing education candidates who belong to cosmetic dentistry practices, general dental practices, ADA practitioners, and also the National Association of Dental Laboratories. These dental meetings are taught by leading dental professionals who are up to date with new techniques in dental technology and procedure. The dental workshops promote hands on experience for users of new technology or those dentists who are just beginning their practices.
The AACD dental meetings contain an exhibition area consisting of hundreds of vendors and dental service providers marketing their products to dentists, their practices and other professionals in the dental industry. Vendors at dental conferences may exhibit equipment such as X-ray imaging equipment, exhibits dealing with advanced whitening techniques, innovative practices of dentistry and much more. Services provided to dentists through these exhibits are of a more personal experience than marketing through internet or written advertisement.
